ALWA EPT 210 is a laminate and backfilling resin. Laminates can be produced with ALWA EPT 210 in order to manufacture glass fibre plastic parts, gauges, templates, moulds and applications with diverse fillers. ALWA EPT 210 is an epoxy resin that has a low viscosity and a light yellow colour. Under exothermic reaction, it cures in connection with the light yellow hardener H 10 at room temperature. The mixture shows a low viscosity and is particularly appropriate for laminating layers of up to 8 mm. For thicker laminates the application of layers must be interrupted several times in order to avoid too high reaction temperatures in the laminate.

ALWA EPF 10 is a temperature-resistant, steel-filled gelcoat based on epoxy resin. It is used to produce temperature and abrasion resistant surfaces for vacuum, PU foam, thermionic moulds and heating plates, among others.

In order to meet the demands for robustness and efficient heat output, we have embroidered the heating element on a glass mesh fabric carrier material. Between the meandering arrangement of the heating strands, we integrate a recess for the temperature switch in the CAD layout. In addition, a second wire is laid concurrently as a PTC thermistor for the electrical connection of the safety switch. After the technical embroidery process, the safety switch is inserted and connected by our company’s respective department. Each prefabricated element is tested for functionality and performance in the final inspection and is delivered to the customer after passing the test. As a semi-finished product, the infrared heating element on glass mesh fabric can be further processed by the customer, e.g. in connection with silicone, rubber or epoxy resin.

The CSN® type RCVoltage Dividers consist of a proven reliable and high accuracy resistivecapacitive voltage divider. These are used for voltage measurement for control and protection systems in HVDC links and research institutes. The base for our Voltage Dividers are metal wire resistor webs that have been embedded in epoxy resin under vacuum. In this way, optimal protection against external influences can be achieved. Depending on the installation requirements (outdoor or indoor application), special designs of the voltage dividers adapted on the site requirements are used. The mould construction fleece is particularly well tensile and conformable. It is also ideally suitable for complicated parts and moulds. Since this fleece is produced of 100 % polyester fibres, it can be processed with epoxy and polyester resin without any problem. The resin consumption is approx. 1.5 – 2 kg/m² depending on the application. It is ideal for producing free forms.

To guarantee the best possible durability the hollow rivets are painted using a two-component epoxy resin paint in a stow enamelling process. In addition to the visual benefi ts, the painted blind rivet also has added protection against corrosion. Aluminium blind rivets are best suited for this procedure. In the long-term they achieve the desired visual effect when joining coloured parts. GESIPA® blind rivets are available in the standard RAL colours. On request, steel blind rivets are also available in RAL colours or even special colours. Another method for colouring blind rivets and for protecting them against corrosion is to anodize them. The Eloxal method is more complex but is the most durable process for coloured blind rivets.

Aqua Release 470 is a water-based, semi-permanent release agent and mold sealer in the field of thermoset processing, but especially for molds with highly porous surfaces. It can be used for castable or spreadable polyester-, epoxy-, phenolic and DCPD- resins. The operating temperature range of Aqua Release 470 is between room-temperature and +150°C.

Where to use deva.tex ® deva.tex ® is a high performance self-lubricating sliding material with a glass fiber reinforced carrying layer. The machinable sliding layer consists of fibers which are embedded in epoxy resin. The resin carries PTFE as lubricant for excellent tribological performance. deva.tex ® bearings are available up to 1.000 mm and are characterized by a very high corrosion and wear resistance.
