With the ESX-MBC, we present a new CAN-J1939 module especially for the agricultural and construction machine sector, to control electric motors and actuators in a performance range of up to 200 W. It provides four fast PWM half bridges (each 10 A) with current measurement and two further digital power outputs (each 4 A). Of these, two half bridges respectively, which can be combined to form one motor full bridge, and one digital output are supplied via a safety relay (max. 15 A per safety relay). The module also possesses four multifunction inputs, one module identification output, one digital output and one fixed voltage output for sensor supply. All analog signals are processed with a 12-bit resolution.

The ESX-4CS-GW is the first control unit of the fourth generation. The new platform is in turn based on the current AURIX family by Infineon. This AURIX family contains multicore and single core processors. The ESX-4CS-GW (C = Compact, S = Small, GW = Gateway) is equipped with a multicore processor with four internal processors. Three of these cores are available for the creation of your application. The fourth core serves as the lock step core for safety-oriented applications. It has a thin-film measurement cell made from stainless steel which is welded together with the pressure sensor and thus guarantees high media compatibility.
