The lines are equipped for such processes as trimming, recoiling, precision leveling, and cutting-to-length. ANDRITZ Sundwig manufactures cut-to-length lines for steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and all types of non-ferrous metals in strip widths from 600 to 3,200 mm and strip thicknesses from 0.1 to 25.0 mm. Our references include steel plants, steel service centers, the automotive industry, and metal processors of various kinds. Individual customer solutions distinguish our innovatively designed, frequently proven, and highly productive lines ANDRITZ METALS cut-to-length lines cut aluminum sheet and strip for industrial applications and for the aeronautical industry to the desired precise dimensions. These lines can process coils and sheets of up to 2,850 mm in width, up to 15 m in length, and at strip thicknesses between 2 and 15 mm.

Our SURVOS has also been successfully used in cutting and punching aluminium sheets, steel sheets, copper and brass sheets, in cold profiling, bending, embossing, sawing and drilling aluminium profiles for decades. SURVOS Plus L meets the strict food law requirements of the FDA US regulations in acc. with 21 CFR 178.3620(b) and 178.3120. SURVOS Plus has a high lubricity and quickly evaporates 100%.* * According to the specifications of the DAB (German Pharmacopoeia), an evaporation residue of < 0.01% is considered to be residue-free. The evaporation residue of SURVOS Plus L is 0.0045% or 45 ppm.

SURVOS – 100% residue-free* evaporating metal processing oil. SURVOS Rapid D evaporates considerably faster than the "Standard" formulation (with a somewhat lower lubricity). SURVOS Rapid D impresses, however, with short evaporation times and is 100% residue-free*. The fluid is used in particular when operations follow each other in a short cycle sequence and no residue is allowed to remain. * According to the specifications of the DAB (German Pharmacopoeia), an evaporation residue of < 0.01% is considered to be residue-free.

SURVOS detaches from a workpiece with 100% residue-free evaporation even when the parts lie flat on top of each other. Only selected raw materials of the highest purity are used for SURVOS. One of the main components is dearomatized hydrocarbons of the highest quality. As a metal processing medium that evaporates residue-free, SURVOS combines optimum lubricity with favourable values for evaporation speed, toxicology and environmental protection. All SURVOS products are classified according to REACH (EC 1907/ 2006) and do not contain any substance that is on the list of candidates for SOVHC.

With PIAS® pierce-clinch nuts (square) and RIVTEX® (ROUND) a non-detachable metal fastening can be created at optimum cost. The pierce-clinching technology is suitable for steel and aluminium sheets, causes very little cost for inspection and control, and allows several pierce-clinch screws to be processed in a single stroke. A non-detachable fastening for sheet metals can be produced at optimum cost by using self-clinching screws under the brand names of RIVTEX® (for sheet thicknesses between 0.75 and 2.00 mm) and STRUX® (for sheet thicknesses between 2.0 and 5.00 mm). The clinching technology is suitable for steel and aluminium sheets, causes very little cost in inspection and control, and allows several clinch screws to be processed in a single stroke.
