The key to successful power generation through wind is efficiency, and industrial aluminum is playing a key role in making wind turbines lighter. Working together with our partners, we’ve created a smaller, lighter tower casing behind the rotor blades, as well as an innovative aluminum enclosure for the turbine’s generator that is lighter and more efficient than fiberglass composite housings used previously. This housing reduces fire risk thanks to aluminum’s incombustibility and helps cool the generator due to aluminum’s thermal conductivity, extending the aluminum enclosure’s functional life. It also maximizes the unit’s recyclability and protects the generator from lightning, since the aluminum acts as a Faraday cage and is non-combustible in the event of a lightning strike.

For high-tech applications requiring high strength and stiffness combined with light weight, SIGRAFIL continuous carbon fiber tows are indispensable. In this case, the innovation lies in that the concrete towers are built from the inside. in the traditional assembly the concrete tower is scaffolded from outside and then refi tted part by part. Not only is this extremely timeconsuming during the assembly, but also the setup of these scaffolds binds precious time resources and tower crane capacities. During the assembly of concrete segments with the Gplatform , the platform is connected inside the fi rst concrete ring by a mobile crane, in compliance with the requirements for passenger transport. If the following concrete tower segment is attached, the crane has already been positioned properly in order to elevate the Gplatform to the next level. After lowering the crane gear, the Gplatform is inserted and pulled to the next tower section. During the upward movement, the assembly operators must not leave the Gplatfom.

Neodymium block magnet, also known as rectangular magnet, square magnet or bar magnet, compared with disc magnet, block magnet is not as commonly used as disc magnet, but their straight line and clean edge offer a pleasing and different visual appearance, what's more, it provides a bigger surface area than disc magnet of same diameter. The corrosion resistance of Neodymium magnet is considered poor, surface coating is highly recommended for Neodymium magnets. With the expansion of elevators, wind turbines and permanent motors application, the users need higher requirement on corrosion resistance of Neodymium magnet, as the glue cohesiveness of unplated magnet is much better than plated magnets, also unplated products are better in the security. Now, more and more customers tend to use unplated magnets, upon this condition we have developed ultralow weight loss magnets after the continuous innovation and study. Normally, the weight loss test is over 150mg/cm² in the industry of Neodymium magnet, this will be different for magnets produced from different material formulation and manufacturing process. A lot of our new magnets can reach to 1mg/cm², (Testing condition HAST standard for 168hrs), due to its very low weight loss, the corrosion resistance is excellent
