The key to successful power generation through wind is efficiency, and industrial aluminum is playing a key role in making wind turbines lighter. Working together with our partners, we’ve created a smaller, lighter tower casing behind the rotor blades, as well as an innovative aluminum enclosure for the turbine’s generator that is lighter and more efficient than fiberglass composite housings used previously. This housing reduces fire risk thanks to aluminum’s incombustibility and helps cool the generator due to aluminum’s thermal conductivity, extending the aluminum enclosure’s functional life. It also maximizes the unit’s recyclability and protects the generator from lightning, since the aluminum acts as a Faraday cage and is non-combustible in the event of a lightning strike.

Our self-aligning ball bearings are characterised by their high load capacity and long service life. The KIS range includes both open and sealed self-aligning ball bearings, depending on the requirement. They are particularly suitable for applications with high demands on load performance and wear protection and are used, for example, in industrial machinery, wind turbines and conveyor technology. With low maintenance requirements, they offer long-lasting wear protection. Two rows of balls, two deep raceways in the inner ring and a hollow ball raceway in the outer ring combined for both rows characterise the design of self-aligning ball bearings. Due to the spherical raceway in the outer ring, self-aligning ball bearings are insensitive to misalignments of the shaft to the housing, compensating for static and dynamic angular errors within certain angular limits in a rotating shaft system. Automatic plant for the production of calendered bars from Ø 12mm to Ø 40mm. The bars are automatically selected, positioned, transferred to the calendering machine, calendered and then unloaded without the need for operator intervention. The calendering center COMPASS 40 guarantees the insertion of the bars always oriented in the same way; automatic control of the bending radius; an automatic manufacturing process; greater safety for the operator. COMPASS 40 can operate in 3 ways Automatic with single bar it allows automatic feeding of the bar and electronic check of the produced bar bending radius; Automatic with multiple bars it allows the automatic feeding of the bars without checking the bending radius; Manual with the same features of a CER40 calendering machine. The Recovib.Monitor devices are industrial grade multi-purpose acquisition and monitoring systems.
