Owens Corning complexes (combinations of woven roving & chopped strand mat) are designed for to address both a mechanical function (WR) and an aesthetic function (CSM) in a single layer.

Ultrablade® HE is a highefficiency fabric designed to reduce the amount of material layers needed to layup in a blade mold. Ultrablade® HE offers process advantages that will help save labor costs while maximizing the speed performance compared to existing UD fabrics.

Ultrablade® X fabric solutions leverage Owens Corning’s proprietary Hybrid Fabrics, that are specially designed to combine Glass and Carbon fabrics to provide unique advantages for superior performance. The Multimat®, Multimat® Lite and Multicore® fabrics are designed for stretchability, high compression resistance that help fast wet out and high mechanical properties; as well as good permeability, high conformability that helps surface aspect and enables various part thickness.

Multiaxial reinforcements are fabrics composed of two or more plies, or layers of unidirectional fibers, the optimal reinforcement configuration. Owens Corning redefines multiaxial noncrimp fabric reinforcements.

Universal primer, suitable for oil, acrylic, tempera and mixed colours. Our primed artist canvases are available in standard 10 metre rolls, for big quantities, special lengths are also possible upon request.

UNICONFORM® mat is well suited for very complex forms requiring high deformation in closed molding process, and enables excellent translucency in panel applications. CHALLENGING APPLICATIONS Good drapability and highstretching provide ease of conformability and deformability to complex contours, while easy splicing and overlapping enable large and complex part design. IMPROVED SURFACE AESTHETICS The open mat structure enables a consistent resin distribution throughout the surface, providing a smooth appearance behind the gelcoat. Excellent panel clarity and translucency is provided by the use of glass material — no synthetic core or stitching. IMPROVED PERFORMANCES Continuous fibers provide high tensile and flexural performance to the final part. Lack of chemical binder provides improved smoke and fire resistance properties.

UNIFILO® 700 Series continuous filament mats represent a large choice of tailored preforming solutions for closed mold process. EASY PROCESSING S744, S750 products enable extra stretch and good resin flow for deeper draw applications. U746 product provides good stretch and excellent resin flow required in multilayer applications. ENHANCED MECHANICAL PROPERTIES T750, T754 products provide enhanced mechanical properties in the crossmat direction. U720 product provides stronger and more durable preforms. It is well suited for automated processes. UNIFILO® 800 Series continuous filament mats represent a large choice of tailored reinforcement solutions for efficient manufacture of various composite parts by closed mold process. EFFICIENT PROCESSING U850 high permeability product family enables enhanced resin flow in highly filled systems. U810 product family offers a good compromise between low, medium and high drapability and permeability. CORROSION RESISTANCE Excellent corrosion resistance with Advantex® Glass compared to standard Eglass providing longer service life in applications facing corrosion. U800 products are available with varying strand design and binder contents to match up with specific customer applications. U800 Series mats are compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, acrylic and epoxy resins. They are designed to be processed in closed mold processes including RTM (high and lowpressure injection), infusion and compression molding. Applications include heavy truck, automotive and industrial parts.

OptiSpray® F Roving represents a compelling solution for fabricators that want to save time and resin while increasing the performance of their products. INCREASED EFFICIENCY Low fuzz combined with easy chopping, flat lay down and uniform dispersion saves time. REDUCED COST Higher glass loading with optimal resin consumption reduces the amount of expensive resin required. GREAT PERFORMANCE Good mechanical properties, great surface quality, excellent conformability, doesn't trap air, low spring back. FAST WETOUT Designed to provide optimal performance for sprayup applications where fast wetout speed is preferred; great performance in various types of part complexities. ME1975 multiend roving represents a proven solution for sheet molding compound applications where efficient processing and superior surface finishes are required in vertical wall and low density ClassA parts. EXCELLENT PROCESSABILITY Easy unwinding and chopping, flat laydown, and uniform dispersion with low fuzz and static allows for high line speeds and thick paste viscosity. High impregnation and wetthrough characteristics in a relatively dense sheet provides excellent resin flow, especially in long vertical walls that can result in less rework. IMPRESSIVE CLASSA SURFACE APPEARANCE Designed for use with lowdensity formulations enabling enhanced ClassA surface aesthetics without rippling. HIGH PERFORMANCE Excellent product flow in mold along with excellent wetthrough characteristics allow for excellent mechanical properties in the final part. ENHANCED SERVICE LIFE Advantex® glass helps fight corrosion, enhancing service life compared to standard Eglass.

ME1510 represents a compelling solution for structural applications requiring high mechanical properties. This multiend roving product increases physical properties – enabling vehicle light weighting, increased fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. EXCELLENT PROCESSABILITY Due to excellent wettability in epoxy and phenolic matrices, very high glass content is achievable, enabling excellent processability while compounding. OUTSTANDING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES Superior strength and flexural modulus enable light weighting in vehicles to increase fuel efficiency, lower CO2 emissions and increase range in electric vehicles. ENHANCED SERVICE LIFE Advantex® glass helps fight corrosion, enhancing service life compared to standard Eglass. FIRE RESISTANT Compatible with phenolic resins used in fire resistance applications such as electric vehicles.

LifeMat® wet laid glass nonwoven solutions help manufacturers improve the performance and lifespan of batteries. Pasting Mat is for use in flooded leadacid batteries for stopstart engines. Retainer Mat is for heavy duty and deep cycle batteries. DESIGNED FOR LEADACID BATTERIES (PASTING MAT) Excellent corrosion resistance with very low electrical resistance (<17mΩ/mm2). Minimal effect on cold cranking due to the low electrical resistance. EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE (PASTING MAT) Reenforces the positive active mass at the surface while preventing positive active mass shedding. Exceptional oxidation resistance provides additional protection throughout the lifetime of the battery. EASE OF USE (PASTING MAT) LifeMat® is pasted onto/into the positive active mass where upon drying/curing a very strong bond is formed eliminating the need for pasting paper. Easy to cut and compatible with continuous pasting processes. Easily applicable in continuous pasting process.

Unifilo® 500 Series continuous filament mats represent a large choice of tailored reinforcement solutions for efficient manufacture of high performance profiles by pultrusion process FREEDOM OF DESIGN AND WHITE COLOR U527 product easily adapts to complex die shapes and preserves part white color. U528X1 product offers a great balance between softness, white color and good tensile strength requirements. PRODUCTIVITY AND HIGH PERFORMANCE U528 product is easy to splice and enables excellent processability. It provides very good mechanical and dielectrical properties to molded parts U529 product higher tensile strength fits the requirement for most challenging profiles and fast pultrusion process speed. PipeStrand® S2300 is made for fabricators that want to reduce material cost, while increasing the performance of their filament wound products. Designed to increase production efficiency, while providing excellent hydrothermal stability under pressurized conditions. OUTSTANDING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES Excellent properties in both amine and anhydride curing systems; improved axial tensile strength, interlaminate shear strength and burst stress for high performance filament wound epoxy applications. REDUCE COST Designed for use in filament winding, in both epoxy amine and anhydride curing systems — giving flexibility with one glass input and higher glass loading. GREAT STRAND WETOUT Excellent processing range, fast wetting and smooth pipe surface. LONG SERVICE LIFE Excellent hydrothermo stability and strength retention under pressurized conditions, leading to long service life for installed pipe.

SE4850 singleend Type 30™ roving represents a compelling solution for Polypropylene in Direct Long Fiber Thermoplastics (DLFT) applications where improved performance and manufacturing economics is required. Improved resistance to fuzz generation for easier processing and improved housekeeping. Reduced strand stiffness for easier splaying. Increased lubricity for lower strand tension. Improved splice tensile strength for enhanced packagetopackage transfer and improved line efficiencies. Outstanding compatibility with PP for better wetout and dispersion. Optimized adhesion to PP to meet or exceed all mechanical performance needs. Rovings are available in a singleend internalpull package. Each pallet weighs about 1 ton and can be packaged in bulk or CreelPak™ packaging format. Pallets are stretch wrapped for load stability and for protection during transport.

SE1200 singleend Type 30™ roving is a compelling solution designed specifically for knitting and weaving with versatility to work well in filament winding, pultrusion, and LFTP applications. EXCELLENT PROCESSING Smooth runout from lower drag across contact points produces less fuzz, resulting in smoother parts, less cleanup, and improved machine efficiencies. MULTIPROCESS & MULTIRESIN COMPATIBLE Flexibility for use with standard weaving looms, multiaxial knitting machines, filament winding, and pultrusion. SE2350 singleend Type 30® roving is designed for applications requiring high strength, efficient processing and demanding fatigue life. Maximum strand integrity results from uniform distribution of a proprietary sizing system ensuring excellent resintoglass binding. EXCELLENT PROCESSING Smooth runout from lower drag across contact points produces less fuzz, resulting in smoother parts, less cleanup, and improved machine efficiencies. FAST WETOUT WITH REDUCED COST Fast, uniform strand wetout leads to higher glass loading and good adhesion with reduced resin in both amine and anhydride cured epoxy resin systems. This results in optimized part production speed and increased productivity, reducing manufacturing costs. PulStrand® PRO41 Roving is designed to maximize pultrusion processes by reducing the number of glass doffs needed. High tex reduces floor space, improves downtime and labor, and provides the opportunity to make larger parts without compromising mechanical properties/processing. 5075% less floor space required to run your product line. Product change overs require fewer doffs and less labor. Space savings and large tex enables you to make larger parts with the same setup. 366 Type 30® Single End Roving is specifically designed for fast wetout, good processing, high glass loading and excellent laminate properties, to maximize customers’ processing efficiency and minimize their production costs in pultrusion and filament winding applications. EXCELLENT PROCESSING Owens Corning T30 does not have catenary, enabling smooth runout, while low fuzz properties result in smoother parts and less downtime for cleanup; enabling higher efficiencies and lower manufacturing costs. VL9202 is composed of chopped filaments of Advantex® glass fiber, 16 microns in diameter, that are bonded together with a styrene insoluble binder system designed for pultrusion processes. ME1960 multiend roving represents a versatile solution for a largesurface of SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) components that require a combination of efficient processing, high mechanical, and aesthetic properties. EFFICIENT PROCESSING Easy unwinding and chopping, flat laydown, and uniform dispersion with low fuzz and static for large and/or semistructural part molding. ENHANCED PERFORMANCE Better wetout allows higher glass loading (up to 65% according to a 2016 single customer data source) due to excellent wetthrough and impregnation. This can be leveraged to further enhance the mechanical strength and stiffness of the composite part in complex structures. IDEAL COLOR (WHITE) FOR PIGMENTED PARTS Desirable product flow within mold at low shrinkage delivers a resinrich whitecolor surface aspect with lowporosity which facilitates good pigmentation or painting of finished parts.

OC Paneluxe™ multiend roving represents a compelling solution for panels where excellent translucency performance is required. Produced with patented Advantex® corrosion resistant ECR glass by Owens Corning and compatible with unsaturated polyester resins. EXCELLENT PROCESSING Designed for excellent processing at various line speeds, OC Paneluxe™ roving features easy unwinding and chopping, flat laydown, and uniform dispersion with low fuzz and static. With high impregnation and wetthrough characteristics, the product allows excellent resin flow in translucent applications. IMPRESSIVE AESTHETICS Excellent fiber distribution provides a homogeneous surface aspect with limited fiber prints, resulting in consistent thickness throughout the laminate. Absence of white fibers and fiber springback along with significant reduction of air entrapment ensures excellent translucency of laminates.

U801/U809 continuous filament mats represent specific solutions to homogeneously reinforce expanded polyurethane foam. CUSTOMIZED FOR P U FOAM PROCESS U801/U809 specific design helps to even mat expansion during the PU foaming process. U809 is compatible with CO2 blowing agent used in insulating material manufacturing process. Excellent glass/polyurethane bonding brings improved mechanical performance and dimensional stability to the PU foam. U801 superior drapability fits the most complex mold shapes. CORROSION RESISTANCE Excellent corrosion resistance with Advantex® Glass compared to standard Eglass providing longer service life in applications facing corrosion. U801/U809 mats are compatible with polyurethane resin systems and designed for PU foam reinforcement process. U809 is suited for LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) carrier cryogenic insulating systems. U801 is recommended for PU foam reinforcement in replacement of wood structure, in housing and recreational vehicle applications.

M715 chopped strand mat represents a compelling solution in contact molding applications where quick wetting, rapid air release, good conformability and low resin consumption are desired. EASY HANDLING & MOLDABILITY Maximizes molding productivity by reducing the labor required to roll out product. Ease of handling and ability to conform rapidly to complex molds.
