Raw materials arriving at our warehouse come to the quality control laboratory in accordance with the sampling procedure, and if the analysis results are found appropriate, their entry into the company is approved. Raw materials are analyzed based on European Pharmacopoeia 10.8 methods, based on certain control criteria. These controls; visual control, solubility control, density determination, moisture determination, pH determination, viscosity determination. After the approvals, weighings are carried out in accordance with GMP in a special weighing room equipped with HEPA filters and humidity controls. The controls made on finished products are; visual control, solubility control, organoleptic control, volumetric and quantitative control, moisture determination, pH measurement, density determination, viscosity determination, hardness determination, diameter-thickness measurement, quantification (HPLC), gas chromatography.

The fully automatic Petri dish labeling system offers maximum flexibility for laboratories. The POITTEMILL Control laboratory is equipped with measuring devices designed to characterize the physical properties of the raw materials to be treated from samples provided by our customers. Preproject indexes such as humidity content, HGI and Work Indexes are determined according to standardized procedures (ISO 5074 for the Hardgrove grindability Index). After the tests have been concluded, the fine particles resulting from the grinding or selection are analysed in order to establish the particle size distribution curves.

The IUQ has worked on various research projects in collaboration with universities and colleges. Here, Bachelor and Master theses were supervised. We also worked for research projects for the Federal Environment Agency (UFO-Plan). As part of industrial projects, research projects were implemented in the field of recycling and water treatment in collaboration with companies and universities.

They come with calibrated dimensions of 76.2 x 25.4mm and are available in thicknesses of 0.8 to 1mm or 1 to 1.2mm. All come pre-cleaned, with ground edges or optional polished edges for blood film application. Please check availability when ordering. Twin frosted slides come with an optional feature of clipped corners. This improves safety when handling and is also available by request on other sizes too.

The draining rack is easy and flexible to set down on a table or working surface. Two large supports with wide bases ensure sufficient stability. Since both sides of the draining board can be used, it provides twice the hanging space. The collecting pan can simply be removed for emptying. The stable rods are individually placed into the holes of the draining rack and are clicked into place. Their positions can be changed at any time. Using a combination of rods of three different lengths (60 mm, 100 mm and extension to 150 mm), the draining rack can be adapted to any apparatus which is to be dried.

The SteriPlast® sample scoop made of polystyrene is produced and assembled in our clean room of class 7 (10,000), individually packaged for disposable use and then sterilised by gamma rays. The sample scoop is ideal for powders, granulates and pastes. The scoop with transparent cover can be closed immediately after sampling and the sterility and exclusion of contamination can therefore be safeguarded. Ergonomics were particularly important to us for the design of the sample scoop.
