The T610 is a handheld measuring instrument from the Trotec MultiMeasure family, used for quick non-destructive moisture measurement up to 300 mm. Another advantage of the process, aside from the measuring depth, is its independence from the level of salt content in the material. This creates no dissimilarity to the microwave technique, whether it is an older or a new building being gauged. Since the unit’s screen can show two values, for purposes of results evaluation, a function value can be indicated at the same time as the present measured value, if needed. The T610 moisture meter can be linked to a PC through a USB cable. Due to the MultiMeasure Studio Software, the gauged values of the device can be transported online and in real time to the PC. Based on its specifications, this device can be used in various applications. It is especially suitable for resistance measurement on insulating materials such as e.g. cable insulations, foils, textiles, surfaces, insulating liquids,etc. With a test voltage of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V the device fulfi ls most test specifi cations such as e.g. DIN 51953, 53482 and 54345. The guard switching allows single resistance measurements in a triangle wiring. This could be e.g. a two line cable with common shield or the measurement of insulating materials on a guardring measurement cell. The selection of the measurement range is done manually or automatically. Fast subsequent measurements can be realized by the internal limit value indicator. When the measured value exceeds the limit the limit value indicator switches and activates a potential-free relay output. The megohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 24508 is the right instrument for its use in laboratory as well as in industrial applications.

The RESISTOMAT® model 2311 has been designed and optimized for high-speed applications in automation systems. Up to 100 measurements per second can be achieved. It works on the basis of the welltried four-wire measurement method in which test-lead resistances and contact resistances are eliminated. The instrument leads are monitored for damage by a built-in open circuit detector. A 2-way and 4-way comparator with switching outputs is available for classifications and selections. Of course, temperature compensation is available for any test object material. Specific temperature coefficients can be entered. Temperature recording takes place using a PT100 sensor or a temperature transmitter (pyrometer) with an analog output. A special circuit for protecting the measurement input when measuring inductive test objects has been developed to prevent damage to the meter from voltage peaks produced when the test object is disconnected.
