The Trotec PC200 Particle Counter features 6 measuring channels (0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 2.5, 5.0 and 10.0 μm) with three counting modes (concentration, cumulative and differential) and counting efficiency of 50% at 0.3 μm and 100% for particles beyond 0.45 μm. The internal pump allows flow rate of 2.83 l/min (0.1 ft³/min) and the zero count is < 1 particles / 5 min with a coincidence loss of 5%, 2 million particles per ft³ (28.3 liters). The Laser class 3B with wave length of 780 nm and 90 mW is used as a light source while isokinetic probes serve as sample inlet. The device can be used to easily acquire readings on air temperature, humidity, dew point temperature and wet-bulb temperature.

The T610 is a handheld measuring instrument from the Trotec MultiMeasure family, used for quick non-destructive moisture measurement up to 300 mm. Another advantage of the process, aside from the measuring depth, is its independence from the level of salt content in the material. This creates no dissimilarity to the microwave technique, whether it is an older or a new building being gauged. Since the unit’s screen can show two values, for purposes of results evaluation, a function value can be indicated at the same time as the present measured value, if needed. The T610 moisture meter can be linked to a PC through a USB cable. Due to the MultiMeasure Studio Software, the gauged values of the device can be transported online and in real time to the PC. The SENSORMASTER 9163 covers a wide range of applications in which process values need to be measured, displayed, analyzed and transferred to higher-level control systems. Based on its specifications, this device can be used in various applications. It is especially suitable for resistance measurement on insulating materials such as e.g. cable insulations, foils, textiles, surfaces, insulating liquids,etc. With a test voltage of 45 V, 100 V, 250 V and 500 V the device fulfi ls most test specifi cations such as e.g. DIN 51953, 53482 and 54345. The guard switching allows single resistance measurements in a triangle wiring. This could be e.g. a two line cable with common shield or the measurement of insulating materials on a guardring measurement cell. The selection of the measurement range is done manually or automatically. Fast subsequent measurements can be realized by the internal limit value indicator. When the measured value exceeds the limit the limit value indicator switches and activates a potential-free relay output. The RESISTOMAT® model 2311 has been designed and optimized for high-speed applications in automation systems. Up to 100 measurements per second can be achieved. It works on the basis of the welltried four-wire measurement method in which test-lead resistances and contact resistances are eliminated. The instrument leads are monitored for damage by a built-in open circuit detector. A 2-way and 4-way comparator with switching outputs is available for classifications and selections. Of course, temperature compensation is available for any test object material. Specific temperature coefficients can be entered. Temperature recording takes place using a PT100 sensor or a temperature transmitter (pyrometer) with an analog output. A special circuit for protecting the measurement input when measuring inductive test objects has been developed to prevent damage to the meter from voltage peaks produced when the test object is disconnected.

The MD200, manufactured by Trotech®, is a magnetometer suited for covered ferromagnetic metals locator such as valve caps and rods, hydrants, metallic manhole and tank covers, and the like. It is designed for environments like in the blazing heat, bitter cold, under water or in the snow to supply a location results that is accurate. It comes with a benefit of a covered ferromagnetic metal with a speedy detection and a reliability that prevents the detection of all non-magnetic metal objects due to its high sensitivity, and with an auto-manual adjustment that can function for 24 hours. Furthermore, a backlit display can be read easily along with a rotation function. It is designed to minimize discomfort and lightweight of only 830 g.

The PD200 is a professional impulse current measuring system to detect leak (holes) in non-conductive sealing systems and is suitable for leak detection on balconie, pond liners/swimming pools or flat roofs. In contrast to the previous model PD100, the PD200 has extremely compact dimensions - the size of the device could be reduced by more than 30%! These compact dimensions enable the transport of the PD200 e.g. through so-called safety ladders to the corresponding flat roof.The impulse current measuring system easily wins the weight comparison with its previous model. Although the single components partially are pretty heavy (e.g. the transformer), the total weight could be reduced by about 20% (from 11.2 kg to 8.6 kg). On top of the housing there are clearly visible signal lamps - one standard impulse signal (green) and one short-circuit signal (red), incl. integrated tone generator.

The new strain gage amplifier with IO-Link interface enables digitalization of the measurement technology right from the sensor. Its compact design and high degree of protection allow the instrumentation amplifier to be used practically anywhere in the field. Strain gage sensors typically have an output voltage of a few millivolts. In industrial environments, e.g. in the vicinity of electric motors or frequency converters, interference can affect the measurement result when transmitting analog signals. This is reliably avoided using the new strain gage amplifier with IO-Link interface. The analog link between the sensor and instrumentation amplifier is kept as short as possible, the standardized IO-Link communication is fully digital and interference-free. The amplifier is powered directly via the IO-Link interface – a standardized 5-wire cable with M12 socket. Strain gage sensors can be connected via a 4-pin M8 connector.

The new 9250/9251 amplifier generation unites all the features that make modern measurement data acquisition actually possible for the first time. Network-compatible, high-precision, user-friendly, smart and versatile: the combined system of amplifier module and Fieldbus controller can be integrated into any existing setup. The Fieldbus controller delivers all signals exactly where they are needed, to be combined, checked and linked. Due to the integrated measuring input, the use of a Fieldbus controller module is sufficient for single-channel applications. RESISTOMAT® model 2408 megohmmeter has been especially developed to measure extremely high resistance values with a high degree of accuracy. This instrument has a specifi cation that makes it suitable for all common applications. Fast and accurate measurements of the smallest resistance values are possible with the milliohmmeter RESISTOMAT® model 2316. Due to the rugged aluminium injection moulding desktop housing with membrane keypad it is suitable for use in laboratory and industrial environment likewise. Wires and coils can be measured with temperature compensation. Measurement of steam Much unused energy is wasted through the exhaust air during drying processes without appropriate control. The Ecomat AML optimises the heating energy required by monitoring charging of the exhaust air with water steam and controls this factor through the fan speed or the exhaust air vent control.

Transmission of beta rays The weight monitoring and control system measures the weight continuously, without contact, destruction-free and on moving product. The measurement is based on the attenuation of rays from a radioactive isotope through the substrate located in the measuring gap. This attenuation in intensity is an indication of the weight of the product.

The measured values can be transferred via PROFIBUS, RS232 interface or analog output. The multi-channel version can be used with up to four sensors. These sensors can be combined using mathematical functions, so that even complex measurement tasks can be performed with just the one instrument. Visual alarms on the display make it easier and more convenient to assess when values lie off-limits. Up to four configurable outputs are available as relay or logic outputs. The excellent measurement accuracy of 0.1% also makes this instrument suitable for high-precision applications.

Model 9180 supports force, pressure and torque sensors operating on the strain gauge principle, as well as the connection of position and angle sensors in potentiometer or DC/DC configuration. It also allows the measurement of process signals ± 1 V/ 5 V/ 10 V or 0 ...1 mA, 0(4) ... 20 mA. The current measured value is indicated on the 14 mm high LED main display, while a second display located directly below provides a reading of the peak value. The display is particularly suitable for highly accurate measurements due to the high accuracy of 0.1%. It is also possible to monitor up to 4 limit values and provide the results via relay or transistor outputs. Thus the process value display can be used for classification, process and control tasks. The current measured value is frozen on the display by activating an external HOLD signal. The TARE function is useful for balancing out previous loads for example.
