WIWOX® 410 is a liquid, alkaline mould cleaning agent for the removal of burnt rubber and plastic residues from metallic surfaces. It is also used as a paint stripper. WIWOX® 410 is used undiluted for immersion cleaning of metal moulds. The construction material for the tank can be sheet steel or stainless steel. The tank size depends on the moulds to be cleaned. The pool can be heated from the outside or inside by a heating coil. The processing temperature is generally approx. 80° C. The processing time depends on the degree of soiling and the type of soiling between 10 – 30 minutes.

WIWOX® 340 is a weakly alkaline cleaning agent for grease, oil and oil carbon soiling. Very suitable for pre-cleaning or basic cleaning of soiled steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metal or plastic parts in an ultrasonic bath or in a spray cleaning system. After cleaning and without water rinsing, the parts are temporarily protected against corrosion. The final drying can be accelerated by blowing off with compressed air, a warm air flow or treatment in a drying cabinet. WIWOX® 340 can be used in a concentration of 5 – 7 %. Dilution with water depends on the degree of contamination and the intended exposure time. The bath should have a temperature of approx. 60° C. The bath should be kept at a constant temperature. In the field of precision mechanics, longer exposure times are possible depending on the degree of contamination.

WIWOX® 250 is a very alkaline cleaning concentrate for organic (oil, coal, grease etc.) and inorganic (magnesium, lime etc.) residues on tools and moulds. It can be rinsed off residue-free without a film on the surface. The concentration depends on the working conditions, the degreasing time, the degree of soiling, etc. (between 5 – 30 %). Regular replenishment by checking the bath can prolong its service life. In contrast to powder concentrates, lthe iquid formulation allows convenient use without danger of exothermic reaction in the plant.

Plastic is a thermoplastic and belongs to the organic polyamidebased blasting abrasives. WIWOX® KS nature high-quality blasting and deburring medium is particularly suitable to treat duroplast and rubber components without damaging and matting them. Available in cylindrical or exact cubic shape, it is characterised by high impact strength, dimensional stability and extremely long service life. We also supply an antistatic agent for subsequent or sustained application in liquid form.

Plastic blasting abrasives type WIWOX® KS have been specially developed for optimum, chemically neutral surface treatment and all gentle cleaning – especially for plastic and light metal. They are mainly used for paint stripping, roughening, matting, deburring and cleaning. Plastic blasting abrasives produce consistently high quality and do not cause any damage to the work piece to be treated.

Walnut shell abrasive type WIWOX® WA is a soft granulate and belongs to the organic abrasives. It is produced crushing, washing and sieving the walnut shells. Walnut granules are particularly suitable for the gentle cleaning of delicate surfaces.

WIWOX® SD rounded cut wire shot is mainly used for cleanblasting and shot peening. Depending on the quality of the raw material used, different hardness classes are obtained. We supply non-corrosive cut wire shot that meet the requirement of particularly high demands. Cylindrical cut wire shot blasting abrasives are cut from wire. The length of the grain is equal to the diameter. Grain shapes of different roundness are produced through the subsequent rounding of the cylindrical raw material, rounded from G1 – G3. Cut wire shot has a particularly long service life and are known for low dust generation.

Due to the different thermal tempering, steel shot blasting abrasives type WIWOX® SK obtain different hardness classes from 40 – 43 HRC, 54 – 60 HRC up to greater than 61 HRC. Because of the different degrees of hardness, the steel shot in the operating mixture keeps its angular shape or becomes round during the application process.

Due to its extreme hardness, WIWOX® SG high-carbon cast steel abrasive reaches an extremely high blasting intensity right from the start. It is produced in a melting process and gets its round shape through the subsequent atomising process. The metallic structure of this low-carbon cast steel abrasive is decisive for its long service life.

WIWOX® EDK Stainless steel blasting abrasives are produced in a melting process and crushed into angular granules. It is distinguished by its long service life as well as its aggressiveness and presents an economic alternative to other angular blasting abrasives.

WIWOX® ED Stainless steel blasting abrasives are produced in a melting process and get its round shape through the subsequent atomising process. These fine particles have a particularly long service life and are known for low dust generation. We also supply stainless steel blasting abrasives manufactured under vacuum that meet the requirement of particularly high demands. This blasting abrasive is distinguished by its lustre, purity and roundness.

WIWOX® GB Glass granules type are carefully crushed in a special grinding process to give it its predominantly angular cubic shape. In the production of glass granules, soda-lime glass is crushed and sifted according to individual grain sizes. Glass granules are an iron-free, mineral blasting medium.

The extreme hardness and angular yet sharp-edged properties is typical of black silicon carbide type WIWOX® SI. It is particularly suitable to machine hardened steel and ceramics. It consists of crystalline silicon carbide, which is produced from silica sand and petroleum coke in electric resistance furnaces at temperatures of > 2.300° C. Silicon carbide is iron-free, angular and extremely hard.

Mixed alumina type WIWOX® RK has a low ferrite content and is particularly suitable for applications where a high consumption of blasting abrasives cannot be avoided. Mixed Alumina is produced from ceramic grinding wheels and reclaimed alumina dust from the blasting and grinding industry. It consists of a mixture of white, pink and brown alumina, and is an iron-free alternative for many sectors of the blasting and grinding industry.

The performance and aggressiveness of brown fused alumina type WIWOX® NK produces a strong removal effect as well as a uniformly structured surface. The high TiO₂ content makes it extremely hard and tough, whereby the surface roughness can be greatly changed. Also available as microcorn with a precise grain distribution up to 3 μm.

WIWOX® EK White fused alumina blasting abrasives are used in many areas due to their extreme purity and hardness. From sophisticated medical technology through the roughening of metals to the subsequent coating. Available as white fused alumina in sharp-edged or angular grain shape as well as micro-grain with a precise grain distribution up to 3 μm.

Zirconium oxide-based ceramic beads type WIWOX® KM specially developed for shot peening and surface finishing. The high fracture toughness and surface smoothness of the ceramic beads allow the production of extremely smooth surfaces.

Light, spherical, mineral and ferrite-free glass beads blasting abrasive WIWOX® GP. Ideal for bright, matt-gloss surfaces. The area of application ranges from the cleaning of delicate tools to the deburring of precision parts through to the finishing of precious and non-ferrous metals.

WIWOX PeenPearl® are the new mineral abrasives with the perfect spherical shape. It consists of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) in combination with a high content of titanium dioxide (TiO₂). Its texture is exceptionally dense and resistant to breakage. Other mineral blasting material, such as glass-beads are indirection lifetime exceeded many times over.
