To configure the sensor for use on a given wireless network, either connect it via USB to a PC running EasyLog WiFi software on the network, or configure wirelessly using the EasyLog Cloud app on a mobile phone with access to the network. The sensor can then be placed anywhere within range of the network, In a typical usage scenario, the probe is placed next to the vaccines within a fridge, and the ribbon cable fed out to the logger attached to the outside of the fridge using its magnetised wall bracket; the cable is deliberately thin so as not to interfere with the fridge seal. If the sensor temporarily loses connectivity with the network, it will log readings until it is able to communicate again with the PC application or EasyLog Cloud (max 30 days at 10 second sample interval).

RockWorks is a real-time management system for RockNet and enhances the remote operation of complex widespread networks. Each RockNet device can be monitored and con gured on screen according to the front panel operation. RockWorks enables labeling of each device and channel within the network. The software provides alarm indications and allows for a network- wide default reset of channel parameters and naming. For a more comfortable setup, RockWorks also features an offline editor. The Inventory Manager regularly scans your Cisco switches and dynamically builds a ‘map’ of the IP network and the connected devices (e.g. phones, computers, laptops, printers). The inventory provides a sound baseline for customer-specific network management applications. The Inventory Manager is a server-based application which periodically can scan up to 10.000 different Cisco switches in a network. An example is the use of the Inventory Manager in certain customer-specific deployment scenarios of our ALM Single Sign-On application. In order to create a mapping between Cisco IP phones in the network and attached computers, laptops or thin clients, the Inventory Manager periodically scans the network and creates the mapping. This mapping ensures that each time someone starts his or her laptop, the right IP phone in the network is associated to that user.
