Our PU28 fire barrier is a glass fabric PU coated material suitable for use as a flexible alternative to traditional fire boards. Our PU28 has been used in multiple applications including thatching and roofing or anywhere where there is a requirement for a fire barrier. Our PU28 fire barrier has been used in both large and small developments, in thatched roofs or anywhere where a fire barrier is required. We also supply a range of other passive fire protection products including downlight fire covers, fire retardant tarpaulin, pipe wrap insulation, smoke curtains and fire hoods. Proguard Fire Retardant Premium Carpet Protection Film is perfect for protecting carpets from spillages and debris during building, painting, DIY projects, house moves, parties and other events to help reduce clean up time. The adhesive backing adheres to most carpets and carpet tiles and ensures that the film stays securely in place, making it safer to use than traditional dust sheets and polythene. After use, it can be peeled away without leaving any residue. The rolls are forward wound meaning the adhesive side is on the inside which makes the rolls perfect for application with our Proguard Film Applicator or by hand. As the adhesive is on the inside it is not exposed to dirt. This carpet film has the added benefit of being fire resistant and anti-slip due to its embossed finish. Fire resistant, Low Smoke Toxicity EPDM from J-Flex is supplied, tested & fully certified to EN45545-2, and has been approved to the former National Standards BS 6853, DIN5510 & NF F 16-101 + other Major Standards including LUL S1085 Specifications + BS 476 + UL94 V(0) & NFPA 130 ( U.S. National Fire Protection Association). In addition it has been independently tested & certified to EN 13501-1 Fire Classification of construction products & building elements. It’s resistant to water, an A1 non combustible in accordance with EN:13501-1:2019, is UV stable and fully weatherproof even at freezing temperatures.

Pyroprotect is a Class B-s1,d0 flame retardant impregnant for exterior use. This waterborne, transparent coating helps to prevent mould, rot, mildew and fungi as well as offering class-leading fire protection. Pyroprotect is a flame retardant impregnant for wood with excellent weather resistance properties. Suitable for processing new and wood preservative-treated wooden surfaces, not suitable for surfaces treated with film-forming coatings (lacquers, paints, oils). Pyroprotect is used extensively in rail applications where timber sleepers are exposed to flammable liquids, debris and then sparks from power rails. Pyroprotect is applied at ambient temperature by brush, roller or spray applied there is no requirement for heat treatment or specialist pressure treatment.
