To Comply with Health and Safety guidelines it is required that regular in house inspections be carried out and that a full annual inspection be conducted by a ‘technically component’ person. The benefits of carrying out regular inspections, are not only to comply with HSE legislation but also to reduce the risk of racking related incidents promoting good health and safety within the workplace. During an inspection our personnel will complete a Damage Report, they will then go on to produce a Full Rack Inspection Report which will categorise any damage by risk and issued to you. Carpet Racking utilises adjustable Pallet Racking Frames and Beams in a wide range of configurations to accommodate a wide variety of carpet lengths and roll diameters. Rolls are typically loaded end-on into the Racking system via a specially designed attachment on the fork lift or reach truck. Beam levels can be decked with Chipboard, Timber, MDF etc. to allow smaller carpets and off-cuts to be stored. Each system is designed on a bespoke basis, but there are similarities in many applications which include vinyl roll and artificial turf roll storage racks providing a good basis from which to start the design process.
