As UVC sterilisation becomes more prevalent, Knight Optical can offer UV domes to house LEDs and LED arrays, as well as other light sources. We stock ready-to-order 50mm and 100mm UV fused silica domes with high transmission down to 185nm, meaning it encompasses the traditionally used UVC light sources – KCl excimer lamps (222nm), mercury lamps (254nm) and LEDs (265nm, 273nm and 280nm). Knight Optical can also provide custom domes, including with a flange for easier mounting, manufactured from UV fused silica. Non-rotating asset components seldom receive the routine surveillance they need Hydraulic systems represent another way industry converts electricity to mechanical energy. A pump, normally powered by an electric motor, moves hydraulic fluid through a system. The system is typically made up of a reservoir to hold the hydraulic fluid, high pressure lines to carry the fluid, control valves that ensure the fluid is sent where needed, relief valves for safety, and cylinders to produce mechanical energy.
