Our Chair & Furniture Castors are made from high quality materials including Steel, Nylon, TPR & Polyamide (PA). We have a number of product options available to meet different requirements both within industry or the household. We offer these products with threaded, stemmed and plate fixing fitment options available for each castor size. Our castors are also available with or without a directional brake.

In our product range for wheelchairs and other rehabilitation equipment you will find high-quality spoked wheels with aluminium or plastic rims or polyurethane or pneumatic tyres, if required also with puncture-proof inserts. Of course, we also offer various accessories for spoked wheels such as spoke protectors, also personalised with your company logo on request, drum brakes, hubs, handrims, handrim covers, quick-release axles and adapters. In addition to our standard range, we also manufacture customised spoke wheels using our many years of know-how in the industry, not only according to the wishes of our customers, but also in accordance with the latest European norms and quality standards. Rubber wheels and castors can be used for a wide range of applications. The elastic tread provides a high level of floor surface preservation and makes the equipment quiet when in motion. This makes it possible to achieve an excellent level of operational comfort, even on difficult floor surfaces.

The castors and wheels which are frequently used for medium loads are often capable of transporting heavy loads, albeit generally at the cost of operational comfort. The significant weight involved also tends to have a detrimental effect on the floor. Blickle’s premium rubber wheels and castors are designed for specific applications. In addition to ensuring good floor preservation, they are also easy to manoeuvre and provide a high level of operational comfort in their class.

The Extrathane® tread was developed on the back of Blickle’s decades of experience in this area to meet market demand and provide an outstanding set of characteristics. The tread is highly abrasion-resistant and has a high resistance to cut and tear propagation. This means that heavy duty wheels and heavy duty castors which use Blickle Extrathane® tread are also suitable for crossing thresholds and medium speeds.

Heat-resistant wheels and castors are used in a variety of areas, from the food industry to medical engineering and other industrial applications. Requirements for these wheels and castors are equally diverse: in addition to withstanding high temperatures, they also need to meet hygiene requirements, resist corrosion and support heavy loads. Blickle has eight different wheel series in its standard range to cover these applications. These include series with specialised, highly heat resistant solid rubber and a pressed steel or synthetic rim. Wheel series made of nylon, phenolic resin and cast iron round out the range of heat-resistant wheel series. Temperature resistance ranges from -200°C up to +600°C, depending on the wheel series.

Electrically conductive wheels and antistatic wheels and castors are used in almost every industrial setting, from medical engineering, electrical and semi-conductor industries to the automotive industry, hospitals, pharmaceuticals and other chemical industrial sectors. These wheels and castors are used everywhere protection against electrostatic discharge is required. Spring-loaded castors improve the service life of castors by reducing the amount of shock and impact load. They also protect sensitive and valuable goods by absorbing shock and impacts. The Blickle range includes four different spring-loaded brackets with a steel or polyurethane spring.

Besthane® treads have 40% lower rolling and swivel resistance than the other polyurethane treads. This means that much less force is required to push or pull transport units carrying heavy loads. It also makes the series particularly interesting for customers focused on ergonomics and occupational safety. Besthane® tread also provides a particularly high level of dynamic load resistance, which is particularly useful when transporting sensitive materials. The tread is typically used for a variety of heavy duty applications on different transport units and machines in the machining and automotive industry. It can provide a load capacity of up to 12,000 kg at high speeds of up to 16 km/h.

Swivel and fixed castors with pneumatic rubber tyres are used for maximum floor surface preservation. The pneumatic rubber tyres are available with zig-zag or ribbed profile and can be used indoors and outdoors.

Blickle’s synthetic castors have a modern and clear design and feature high-quality surfaces. They are used in a wide range of applications, including medical equipment, transport systems, kitchen equipment and designer furniture. The smooth surfaces of synthetic castors make them easy to clean, allowing them to meet demanding cleanliness and hygiene requirements. .

Light duty castors and wheels are mainly used for less demanding applications requiring a load capacity of up to 280 kg. They are designed for speeds of up to 3 km/h and therefore more frequently used indoors.Typical applications of light duty castors are medical equipment, display bases or equipment for large-scale catering establishments.

The formula was optimised until Besthane®Soft provided the desired characteristics: exceptionally high operational comfort, a high level of floor surface preservation, low-noise operation and a particularly high dynamic load capacity. This series is also abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant and flexible at low temperatures. The casted tread is used with either an aluminium or nylon wheel centre. The nylon version is also hydrolysis resistant.

We manufacture pressure and feed rollers for moulders, feeders and belt sanders according to drawings or samples, completely ready for installation. The choice of roll coating, the design of the roll coating in smooth or grooved form and the most suitable degree of hardness for the roll coating must be determined customer-specifically. Wood-Her rollers consist of an aluminum core. Light-colored rubber is used for the coating, in addition to the polyurethane materials that have long been tried and tested in the woodworking industry, and mainly the elastomer Vulkollan®. The core mounting holes have two side holes.As a service, we offer our customers the opportunity to have their used pressure and feed rollers re-upholstered by us. In addition to the polyurethane materials that have long been tried and tested in the wood processing industry, the elastomer Vulkollan® is mainly used for the coating. The core mounting holes are designed as a keyway or with three side holes.The Weinig rollers are mainly coated with the elastomer Vulkollan® patented by Bayer.
