The MDX 3D fluidised bed reactor was developed in cooperation with the Technical University of Hamburg. It was specially designed for use in the 3D cultivation of adherent cells. By calling on numerous different carrier materials, it can be used in a wide range of fields of medical technology and research, e.g. cultivating liver cells, chondrocytes or endothelial cells for transplants.
