DHFR A2 is a non-toxic, flame-retardant compound for aluminum composite panels manufactured by uniformly dispersing and impregnating a high content inorganic flame retardant in polyolefin. It is a pellettype compound material that satisfies ‘Fire prevention – European classification of building products’ A2*(DIN 4102) & A2-s1**, d0*** (EN 13501) for Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP). *A2 = Non-Combustible (with combustible components to a minor extent) ** s1 = no/hardly any smoke production *** d0 = no drips/droplets DHFR A2 exhibits excellent flame retardant performance due to its high content of Mg(OH)₂(≥90Wt%) flame retardant and shows processability similar to LDPE due to a balanced combination of raw materials. Due to these characteristics, it is possible to easily produce A2 grade ACP without mechanical supplementation of existing semi-nonflammable (B1;‘difficult to ignite’) materials production facilities (Kneader, Single & Twin Extruder).

A clever design ensures that there are no welding seams on the inside of the cell. Smooth-walled silos derive their strength from the same clever design. The modular construction means that the cell layout is designed completely to suit your requirements and is adapted to suit your unique production process. We can build any length, width or height. Sometimes raw materials or minerals with a corrosive character are stored in our silos. This sets special requirements for the storage. Thanks to the inventive, double-walled, smooth-walled system it is possible to manufacture the smooth-walled silos economically in stainless steel. The parts of the silo that come into contact with the product are made from stainless steel; the other parts are made from normal steel with a coating.

Fire resistant, Low Smoke Toxicity EPDM from J-Flex is supplied, tested & fully certified to EN45545-2, and has been approved to the former National Standards BS 6853, DIN5510 & NF F 16-101 + other Major Standards including LUL S1085 Specifications + BS 476 + UL94 V(0) & NFPA 130 ( U.S. National Fire Protection Association). In addition it has been independently tested & certified to EN 13501-1 Fire Classification of construction products & building elements. EPDM, Silicone, Natural Rubber, Neoprene Sponge & Vamac® Ethylene Acrylic Elastomer materials from J-Flex have been independently tested & certified against some or all of the above norms. These materials all have excellent environmental resistance withstanding ozone, u.v., rain & frost – meaning outdoor applications such as lighting systems and enclosures are kept water and dust-tight.
