We reinforce aluminium foils to bonded sheets by additional layers. We use tissues and "fleece" with different structures. The raw material could be glass or polyester. The reinforced metal foils achieve increased performance concerning the sections stability and tensile strength as requested.

Novelis aluminum converter foil is a part of the light- or thin-gauge product group, ideally between 5 and 70 μm. They form flexible laminates with supporting materials like polymers or paper and additional lacquering and coating. Novelis is a preferred source of converter foil for global players in the flexible aluminum packaging industry, where it is then subjected to further processing, including laminating, extrusion, lacquering and printing, embossing and cutting. Novelis G77Ac anodized aluminum sheet produces a material with a natural gray matte tone. The surface is designed for use in both internal and external aluminum architecture, making it desirable for facades, roofing and interior cladding. Similar to our other anodized aluminum sheet products, Novelis G77Ac can be processed further, such as roll forming, stamping, edging and bending.

Good formability and conductivity make our products useful for condenser case products produced via drawing processes. Manufacturers of these aluminum case applications rely on Novelis to provide high-quality aluminum coils or sheet in alloys such as 1050 and 3004. Novelis produces pre-painted aluminum for scales, dials and nameplates in laser engraving quality, in the form of a surface-treated coil or sheet. Specialized coatings are applied by rollers. Printing is possible via standard commercial inks and paints with no special materials required.

Novelis offers two corrosion-resistant alloys of tension-free aluminum sheeting, including the hard-wearing AIMg3 alloy, to simplify reinforcement and reduce substructure costs. This stability makes it a superior choice for plastic or composite sheeting. It also means it can be recycled completely at the end of the product’s life for the current market value of the metal.

Material on reels is the alternative to punched platelets and is used in packaging production lines with "inline" punching. The features are identical to the pre-punched seals. We offer various qualities, which can be used for conductive or inductive sealing, e.g. of paste tubes, in an inline process.
