Rotation speed sensors are used to monitor, regulate and control mechanical drive systems and play a major role when it comes to protecting elements of a rotational system (e.g., in the engine, drive) from mechanical overload. Micro-Epsilon offers two sensor systems for rotation speed measurement. The capaNCDT CST6110 is a universal rotation speed sensor for counting tasks and rotation speed applications of any type. Moreover, the turboSPEED DZ140 measuring system is specifically designed for the detection of turbocharger rotation speeds.

This high precision torque sensor is designed for both static and dynamic measurements on non-rotating applications. It is particularly suitable for torque measurements on, for instance, extremely small electrical actuating drives and micro-mechanical actuator elements, or for measuring reaction torques e.g. on micro-motors. The high accuracy of measurement also makes this sensor ideal for use as a reference in many fields of industrial manufacture as well as laboratory research and development projects. Not containing any rotating parts, it requires no maintenance if properly used. The strain-gage based sensor’s modular design allows precise configuration for the desired application. With the integrated amplifier option, the sensor directly supplies a voltage signal of 0 ... ±10 V that is proportional to the torque. The sensor can be configured via the micro-USB interface, providing access to, for example, a filter frequency setting, averaging, and a tare function.

Kendrion's motorized door lock offers increased automation for use in many areas of everyday life. The combination of mechanical locking, motor drive, limit switches and electronic engineering is applied in our motorized door lock. The lock has more features than just locking the door. Closing the door with an adjustable, continuous force extends the life cycle of the seals. The lock is self-adjusting to maintain the lifetime of the seals. The big travel of up to 40 mm offers different end positions in the opening and closing process.

PAI material considers the most efficient fusible thermoplastic in terms of temperature resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical stress. Its mechanical strength at 205 °C surpasses many engineering plastics at room temperature. BIEGLO offers PAI finished parts of the following types: Torlon® 4203; 4301; 4275; 4435; 4645; 5030 (30% GF); 7130 (30% CF). Each type is best suited for a particular application. Polyamide-imide can be used for a lot of appliations like gears, rollers, plasma chamber hardware and wafer contact fixtures. In addition, PAI material is ideal for high-temperature thermal insulators, burn-in test sockets, valve seats, fasteners, mechanical connections, rollers, labyrinth seals, drive wheels, valve plates, vanes and support gaskets.

The GRV series can be used in versatile manner. It is equipped with a mechanically variable speed variation drive with drive ratings of up to 11.0 kW. Furthermore it can be supplied with geared drives that have a standard output speed of between 1 and 1,750 rpm. The speed is adjustable with a hand wheel. The agitator shaft of the GRV series geared agitator is directly mounted on the shaft of the mechanical speed variator or with additional speed reduction (all before mentioned solutions possible). The agitator shafts are balanced for concentric run after assembly of the mixer. According to the specific mixing task, the GRV series can be supplied with matching mixing elements and various seals.

Domes produced with ECKOLD machines in automotive industry make sure that there is only a minimum offset between the securing screws and the surrounding metal. The supply of components is exclusively done by reel. For this the machine has a combined location for reel and amo- pack. To save set- up time all necessary toolkits for specific formings are mounted in one unit. These toolkits can be inserted or exchanged within a very short time. When inserting a toolkit the driving- mechanism automatically will be locked. The machine is prepared to keep 2 processing- units. One unit performs upward formings and the other performs downward formings. After the components have been formed and cut they are ejected into a bin for collection. Components
