BEDIA intelligent tank sensor ITS 60 is used to monitor the filling levels of Diesel fuels. The sensor is able to automatically recognize what kind of Diesel fuel (Bio-Diesel, Summer-/Winter-Diesel etc.) is present and calibrates itself to it. The capacitative measurement principle permits measurement of levels without mechanically moving parts. This considerably increases stability and operating safety. Mechanics The new tank sensor ITS 60 is characterized by a particularly stable, but light mechanical system specially designed for “Heavy Duty Applications”. The mounting flange and measurement tube are constructed from die cast aluminium. This construction permits the insertion of tank sensors up to 1200 mm in length, without additional support on the tank floor. The flange hole distribution is compatible with commercially used tank sensors. This means that this system can be used without expensive conversions.

A fuel injection systems manufacturer used two steel brackets to clamp the fuel rail to the top of the engine. The customer was looking at changing these brackets to plastic to reduce costs. In order to prevent deformation of the plastic bracket during the tightening of the bolt, a Compression Limiter was required. The customer originally investigated the use of a machined Compression Limiter, but the savings from changing the metal bracket to plastic would have been lost considering the high price of the machined Limiter. The customer approached SPIROL to help provide a lower cost solution for the Compression Limiter. SPIROL recommended the use of a standard CL200 Compression Limiter based on the rated proof load of the bolt used in the assembly. This roll-formed Compression Limiter is a fraction of the cost of a machined Compression Limiter. In addition, the flexibility of the roll formed Limiter enabled the customer to widen their hole tolerances further reducing assembly costs.

The damping fluid used by LEBENDämpfungstechnik GmbH is used with different consistency under the name COMPENSOL®. Each damping medium can be chosen to meet the requirements. We provide the ideal hydraulic oil (socalled medium) for use in temperaturecontrolled indoor areas up to extreme high temperatures or low temperatures. For special applications, e.g. at temperatures above +80° C or below 40° C, we use a pastelike dispersion as damping medium. This medium solidifies at rest to an apparently solid mass and only becomes flowable under the action of force. When the load ends, it returns to its apparently solid original state. This dispersion has the following properties chemically a colloidal solid dispersion physically a nonNewtonian pseudo plastic Bingham fluid with viscous properties It is a paste or better a coagulation structure and deforms plastically under mechanical stress.

A special cleaner for throttles in fuel-injection systems and carburettors. When oil encrustations build up, throttles become misaligned. This is caused by the evaporation of oil and fuel, and can cause incorrect exhaust emissions to develop. Cleaning with Blast it! restores the default position of the throttles and gives you optimal exhaust control. Fields of application Suitable for throttles, intake manifolds and exhaust gas recycling ventilators of all petrol and diesel engines. Usage Remove the throttle, insert the extension tube into Blast it!’s spray nozzle and shake the can well. Then spray onto dirty areas. Allow about 5 minutes for it to take effect and then wash the residue out by spraying again. If necessary, wipe over with a cloth, then re-attach the throttle. In the case of 6-cylinder motors, firstly scratch out the incrustation on the intake manifold with a screwdriver, then clean with Blast it!. Twin-screw pump as a fuel pump for the automotive industry. Leistritz pumps are used in a wide range of vehicles and pump modules. Our range of fuel tank ventilation products includes all lines, ranging from in-tank vent lines, connectors between fuel tank and suction device to receiving lines, flushing lines and return lines to the activated charcoal filter. Corrugated tube systems / multilayer tube systems that ensure safe operation and a leak-tight connection are designed to customers specification and fitted with integrated valves and fully mounted quick connectors.
