The DIGISTANT® model 4420 universal calibrator, built to use in the field, is ideal for checking and calibrating temperature measurement and control devices. The versatile functions of this portable unit allow to be used on-site or at a fixed location, on the test floor or in the laboratory. The unit allows the simulation and measurement of voltages, currents, temperatures and resistances.Simultaneous transmission and measurement allow, for example, controllers to be checked precisely. The automatic ramp function is used for controlling processes. The universal calibrator measures and simulates 14 models of thermocouples and Pt100. Wherever temperatures are measured, temperatures must also be simulated. The Pt100-simulator is suitable for a wide area of applications. It has a wide range of simulation, which is resolved in 0.1 °C steps and makes many assignments in chemistry-, measuring-, controlling-, medicine and household applications, food industry, vehicle construction, air- and space travel and power plants easy to solve. Often in the past several simulators had to be used alongside to achieve either resolution or the range of the relevant application. As an extra advantage to the user temperatures can be entered in degrees celsius. Additional extensive conversions and readings in tabulation sheets are no longer necessary. The precision calibration unit combines high accuracy, low drift, low noise and superior long-term stability with multiple functionality and simple operation. The precision Pt100 simulator is used wherever measuring instruments or controlling systems have to be tested or calibrated with great precision. The standard version model 4506 simulates 24 set temperature values. Totally different temperature ranges are required in the case of special applications, such as in the food industry, the medical science etc. Model 4506 S is recommended for these applications and can be fitted with 24 temperature values according to customer specifications. A distinctive feature of these simulators is their simple operation. The resistance values required for simulation are directly set in °C. There is no need to use loof-up tables. Today in many cases a certificate is needed more than ever force measurements. This certificate is available under order code 45DKD-.. . The high-precision calibration laboratory is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for flow calibration of flowing gases. The EP calibration laboratory is accredited by the DAkkS according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for calibrations of gases in-house and on-site under the procedure number D-K-21444-01-00. We offer calibrations for gas flow measurement as well as temperature, humidity and pressure measurements. In addition, we calibrate all measured variables of the test bench directly at your site. Our experienced technicians also check the harmonious interaction of all sensors, so that the entire system is perfectly tuned. The standards DIN EN 61508 as well as the product standard DIN EN 50402 are powerful tools to calculate the probability of a failure on demand. The Statox 505 complies with all of the requirements of these standards. It obtained the safety integrity level SIL 2. This provides a reliable database for the user to calculate the safety standard of his plant. If the Statox 505 is operated as a SIL 2 component, a so called “proof test” in certain time intervals is mandatory. All OK All important parameters such as sensor „heartbeat“, signal output, calibration, zero, sensitivity, temperature, sensor memory, amplifier, CPU, power supply etc. are continuously monitored for proper function. In case of a failure, an alarm will be triggered. Thus the system cannot fail without the error being noticed. A green LED signalizes the system status. The display and the controls are located at the inside of the housing - well protected from the elements. Minimum time and work in the field The sensors of the Statox 505 are plug and play technology. Each sensor has a F-RAM on board which communicates all relevant parameters to the sensor head: Gas, measuring range, last calibration, ex works calibration, response time etc. The sensors can easily be calibrated in the shop. For the user this means that he never ever will have to do calibration work in the harsh elements (wind, rain, cold, heat). No more lugging heavy test equipment and gas cylinders into the field. All the user has to do in the field, is plug the sensor back in. To do that, you don`t even need a tool! While the sensor is getting calibrated in the shop, the sensor cartridge stays in place and protects the sensor head from dust and rain.
