The semi-finished products manufactured by Embro GmbH are optionally available with an electrical connection. In addition to the many possibilities of placing different elements on carrier materials with special embroidery processes, Embro offers splicing or soldering techniques for perfect and cost-effective connections. The parts are crimped or soldered together as standard. The introduction of thermal switches, NTC or other cable solutions is also no problem. Special connector solutions can also be implemented. In order to meet the demands for robustness and efficient heat output, we have embroidered the heating element on a glass mesh fabric carrier material. Between the meandering arrangement of the heating strands, we integrate a recess for the temperature switch in the CAD layout. In addition, a second wire is laid concurrently as a PTC thermistor for the electrical connection of the safety switch. After the technical embroidery process, the safety switch is inserted and connected by our company’s respective department. Each prefabricated element is tested for functionality and performance in the final inspection and is delivered to the customer after passing the test. As a semi-finished product, the infrared heating element on glass mesh fabric can be further processed by the customer, e.g. in connection with silicone, rubber or epoxy resin.

We have successfully adapted many of the adhesion promoters (developed for the Coil Coating process) for spray and brush application. Various adhesion promoters for NR, NBR, HNBR, EPDM, SBR, FPM, PVC, PP, ABS, PA, PU, TPE... are available.

heracle developes and produces specialty optical fiber with metal coating for application in harsh environments. Fiber types include Mutimode fiber with step or graded index profiles and Singlemode fiber. All fiber fiber types can be offered with either Gold or Aluminum coating. The pure fused silica step index multimode fibers (SIMM) are optimised for applications in the UV/VIS and VIS/IR wavelengths. The graded index Multimode fiber is designed to operate at 850nm and 1300nm. The Singlemode fiber is specified accoring to according ITU-T G.652. UV lights are used to make invisible features on products visible. The UV radiation causes certain materials to glow. This glowing is clearly visible to the human eye and cameras. Product labels that consumers find annoying can be applied with transparent, fluorescent ink. However, under UV radiation, the labelling can be made visible for the purposes of inspection. Fluorescent, low-contrast adhesives, paints and seals can be shown in high contrast with ultraviolet radiation. Presence and completeness monitoring is thus made easier for the camera. The finest cracks, such as in cast parts, can be made visible with the aid of fluorescence.
