Enercon has two coil design types, each with several variations, to ensure the perfect coil is available for the size and type of your container and cap for your application to deliver perfect, consistent seals. Tunnel coils facilitate higher throughputs than the more traditional flat coils. The Deep Tunnel Coil is used for conical, spouted and other shaped caps. The All-in-One Coil is a variation of the Flat Coil. It is available with the Super Seal™ range and Super Seal™ Touch. This flat sealing head can be pivoted to accommodate various applications. Capable of sealing containers with cap diameters ranging from 20mm to 140mm, it is ideal for packagers who seal a variety of containers and offer the highest degree of sealing versatility. Packagers often don’t realise that the efficiency of the sealing operation depends on the design of the sealing head.

Petainer PET wide-mouth Jars are ideal for powdered products that require a scoop. Available in different shapes, sizes and colours, they increase your on-shelf presence and brand awareness. PET Jars are lighter than HDPE and glass alternatives, reducing your carbon footprint. They are easy to transport and deliver excellent top-load performance with an in-built stackable base design. Our jars have a smooth neck finish and are perfect for induction heat seal. They have a dedicated label area for branding opportunities and on the round shape it is recessed for added protection. Petainer wide-mouth jars can be supplied with handled or non-handled closures with the possibility of engraving the company logo. Petainer jars are strong and unbreakable. They have excellent impact resistance, which allows the safe transportation of consumables. PET will keep your product in perfect condition with barriers against moisture, UV and Light, maximising shelf life. Our wide-mouth jars are BPA free.

Surface mount inductors are used for heating processes in the food industry, in packaging machines or in embossing processes in the graphics industry. The material thickness of the heated tools can be reduced due to the surface energy input. This increases the dynamics of the process and saves energy.

Roller inductors are used in the production of synthetic fibres or in embossing processes in the graphics industry. Different roll diameters can be applied and one or more axial heating zones can be realised depending on the requirements. The controller is a fieldbus device for the control of up to 7 power modules from the modular heating System from Kendrion, which are directly connected via the module bus. In addition to system monitoring, the controller can also control or regulate the individual output channels of all power modules. The induction generator is designed to supply up to 4 induction coils (inductors) with a power of up to 7.5 kW each. The device operates on the three-phase mains with a voltage of up to 400 V and a frequency of 50/60 Hz. The mains current is rectified and fed to the DC link, from which the inductors are individually supplied.

The output power is controlled via the Kendrion controller of the modular industrial heating system. The setting range from 0% to 100% can be selected individually for each channel. By using state-of-the-art semiconductor switches, the output stages achieve high efficiencies, at working frequencies up to 25 kHz.

Many of the issues causing poor seals happen upstream, in the filling or capping area: a seal cannot be achieved with a missing cap or a cap with a missing foil. The capper can also cause stalled bottles under the induction coil where caps are loose or partially fitted or the cap is incorrectly fitted or too high. Issues downstream from the sealer can cause containers to back- up under the sealing head. Our unique coil design facilitates the sealing of a wide range of caps including flat, sauce dispensing and conical caps, at diameters from 15 – 150mm. Other hand-held devices will only seal flat caps. The quality, reliability, and safety and support of the Super Seal™ Junior is the same as our high-volume inline production machines. PICO-M: mobile generator for perfect induction heating Induction generators of the PICO-M series are standardized and consequently cost-effective – without any compromise in quality. The device is available in a medium-frequency version (50 and 75 kW) and a high-frequency version (25 and 35 kW). Inductor design and manufacture continues to be one of eldec’s core competences. The inductor forms the foundation of every eldec induction machine.
