Thermalux® Polysulfone (PSU) is an amber colored, semi-transparent, heat-resistant, high performance engineering thermoplastic that offers higher heat resistance and better hydrolytic stability than polycarbonate (PC). It retains its good mechanical properties when exposed to steam and other sterilization techniques. We offer it in natural light amber in either rods, films and sheets.

Installation The axial bearing pad is mounted flush and secured. The spherical washer glides loosely in the pad and is held by the shouldered shaft mounted on it. The ultrasonic riveting makes possible an interlocking bonding of two thermoplastics or of thermoplastics with dissimilar materials, e. g. thermoset materials or metals. In this process the sonotrode serves as a re-forming tool. It determines the forming of the riveting pin. During the holding time (cooling phase) the sonotrode serves also as fixation stamp, thus the melted material cools down under pressure.

It is the polymerization addition to the raw Polyethylene terephthalate polymer. The glycol makes it more heat resistant and improves other physical properties—this helps create better products that are easy to bend and mold. PETG is a glycolic polymer that is used in additive manufacturing. It is a thermoplastic material and very environmentally friendly as compared to the regular PVC material. It can be recycled entirely, and the filaments are widely used in 3D Printing. If you are not familiar with the word PETG yet, you must know PET. It is the glycolic form of that plastic polymer. In 3D Printing, the extruder gets too hot, which makes it hard for some plastics, but as for PETG, it has excellent thermal stability, which makes it ideal for the process.

ABS is used in the Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) type of 3D printing. The thermoplastic material is heated, and layers of the material are layered over one another. A solid material used in the moulding industry is ABS plastic. It is a thermoplastic polymer that can make good quality products without having to spend so much money on them 80% of it is used in the printed ABS material products.
