Our hemp grows in south-eastern Styria in the region around Riegersburg in Austria. It is a special little piece of land in the middle of the Styrian volcanic region. Hanfred is synonymous with sensible farming in harmony with the environment. We give our hemp the time it needs to reach the perfect maturity. By observing the natural cycle, we decided to take the sensible route without any pesticides, sprays or fertilisers. With our own farmland right outside our front door, we can therefore contribute to the preservation of nature. Our specialities are time-consuming cultivation, as well as harvesting and sorting by hand. Values such as honesty and trust, quality and reliability determine the path we take as a team. Our objective is to make life easier, less stressful and more comfortable for our customers, and to improve quality of life for animals and humans.
