The DIGIFORCE® 9307 monitors processes in which precisely defined functional relationships between two or more measured quantities need to be demonstrated. These measured quantities are recorded synchronously during the manufacturing process or subsequent functional testing to produce a measurement curve, which is then assessed using graphical and mathematical evaluation techniques. After internal evaluation, the measurement curve and computed evaluation results are visualized on the color display and are also output at the external control interfaces. The processes in the controller are optimized by a powerful real-time operating system to achieve an extremely fast evaluation cycle: it typically takes just 15 ms to deliver the global OK or NOK evaluation result, which can then be analyzed by the higher-level controller.

This transducer can be used anywhere thanks to its small size. Designed to work without a measuring chamber (uses a flush front diaphragm instead), this transducer is ideal for any measurements where the material to be measured may leave problematic residues. The range of suitable applications is even greater thanks to a choice of screw-on or weld-on adapters. These convert the pressure-induced deflection of the diaphragm into a change in electrical resistance, which can be amplified, measured and processed by external electronic circuitry.

Labelling systems can be integrated, whether it is laser, needle or inkjet, to mark and identify the tubes. Other options that can be integrated are welding seam detection, length control or measurement of processed tubes. The corresponding sensor and camera technology can be implemented for the specific product. The following step can be carried out without any problems, whether it is cutting, punching, deburring of holes or seal testing with external systems. The surfaceCONTROL 3D 2500 snapshot sensor is used in 3D measurements for geometry, shape and surface inspection on diffuse reflecting surfaces. The sensor can be used in both automated in-line and at-line inspections as well as in the metrology room. The fringe light projection allows direct 3D measurement. The sensor is characterized by its large measuring field as well as a high measuring range depth of up to 300 mm with a repeatability of up to 3.0 µm. The captured images are transferred to the external controller where they are processed into 3D data. Three models cover different measuring fields.

Inverted coiled brushes can be used for cleaning, abrading, polishing or sealing dependent on their fill material, size and configuration. They are used to either centre a product, as a closure or for applying external processes. Diameters, both Internally or externally can be made to any size and dimension.

Angled Roller Brushes are used primarily in a vertical position for specialist cleaning processes both externally or internally of the product. These brushes are produced by stapling tufts of wire, filaments or natural fibres into a plastic, wood, steel or aluminium body to create the desired configuration to suit the cleaning application.

ECOROLL single-roller tools are usually used for roller burnishing. They machine a wide range of complex contours and surfaces such as concave fillets and grooves as well as cylindrical and conical outer surfaces and bores. These tools comprise series EG, EF and FAK. EG tools are divided into tool families EG5, EG14, EG45 and EG90. They burnish cylindrical outer surfaces and bores, conical bores, plane surfaces and fillets. For deep rolling of fillets and thread root radii EF, FAK and FA tools are used. Single-roller tools consist of a tool body equipped with a tool shank, a spring assembly that allows the roller head to move with no play and very low friction. The standard version contains a dial indicator for indirect indication of the spring force. As an option, the tools can be equipped with ECOsense process monitoring for external display of the spring force. The roller head is attached to the flexible, spring-loaded section of the tool body.

With its scan rate of more than 1 million points per second and a maximum scanning speed of 200 profiles/sec. short distances between the profiles can be achieved even at high speeds of the carrier vehicle. Because of the high point density, even small objects are registered and processed by the software. Because the laser measurement system corresponds to laser class 1, the scanner can be used in urban environments without any restriction. A hardware-assisted pixel-by-pixel synchronization makes it possible to process signals form external devices. As a result, the position and orientation of the scan data can be determined.

The future in the pad printing process lies in the integrated cliché production using laser engraving. The pad printing machine HYBRID 90-2 combines the concept of the ”hermetic” pad printing with the flexibility of the digital data for cliché production. Thanks to the software ALFALAS® Laser Suite which was specifically developed for this purpose, the cliché production takes place in the HYBRID 90-2. Automatic changeover of print motifs takes place in a matter of seconds. A multi-color print motif will be directly produced with precise register setting. The control of the HYBRID 90-2 iTAMPOPRINT is already prepared for the use of the software iTAMPOPRINT. This offers the possibility to connect the pad printing machine for example to an ERP system in order to allow a complete data management.
