Our core focus is the production of aluminium alloy tube and tubular profiles. These can be offered as seamless extruded or porthole extruded products. The extruded products can also be cold drawn making it possible to offer a comprehensive range of final dimensions.

The PRECISION SYSTEM series of linear units are self-sustaining profile systems made of extruded aluminum and steel for the TK series, able to ensure excellent precision. Uniline System is a family of pre-assembled linear units boasting a compact size and high speed ensured by the COMPACT RAIL roller bearings, mounted on a self-sustaining extruded aluminum profile. The linear units are driven by a steel reinforced polyurethane belt system. The horizontal seals and the raceway cleaners fitted on both ends of the carriage ensure full protection from dirt. The tolerances of extruded aluminium rods and bars can also be further improved by subsequent drawing. In recent years, ALUnna has specialised in the production of rod and bar meeting the highest quality standards. In the aluminium industry, the porthole extrusion process is the standard method for the production of extruded tubes and profiles. The process is limited to a number of aluminium alloys. However, most of the commercially available medium strength aluminium alloys such as EN AW-6060 or EN AW-6082 can be extruded by porthole extrusion.

RK tube connector – unbeatable variety Thanks to their simple clamping principle, the aluminium tube connectors enable the fast assembly of both round and square precision tubes. Connecting tubes with different diameters and cross sections to one another The cast aluminium or extruded aluminium tube connectors impress with good mechanical properties, a wide range of variants and optimum value for money. Aluminiumwerk Unna AG is specialised in the production of Aluminium tubes. The Aluminium tubes are extruded on site using two possible methods. These are either Seamless extrusion or Porthole extrusion. It is quite simple to distinguish between the two extrusion methods. In seamless extrusion, a mandrel is positioned and fixed inside the extrusion die, creating the inner contour of the tube. In porthole extrusion, the mandrel is fixed and is supported by a number of integral bridges affixed to the outer portion of the extrusion die.

Unlike standard suspension system solutions with individual screens or IPCs, the CS-4000 neXt meets the requirements of the Machinery Directive by the possibility of integrating emergency stop devices. The displacement transducers operate according to the principle of run time measurement between two points of a magnetostrictive waveguide. One point is determined by a moveable position magnet, whose distance from the null point corresponds to the section to be measured. The run time of an emitted impulse is directly proportionate to this section. Conversion to an analogue measuring signal takes place in the downstream electronics. The waveguide is housed in an extruded aluminium profile. The electronics is housed in a die-cast aluminium sensor head. Electrical connection is implemented via a circular connector. The position magnet is located either in a slider, which is linked to the moving part of the machine via a ball joint, or it moves as a liftable position magnet, without wear, over the profile.

There are many benefits of impact extrusion. Whether combined, forward or backward extrusion, there is a high level of dimensional accuracy and the possibility to achieve a close approximation to the final shape. Offering 100 percent tightness, impact aluminum extrusion allows a high degree of transformation in a single production step, high operating speeds at low unit costs and numerous shaping and design possibilities. In addition, impact extrusion provides compact structure, a smooth surface, no soldered or welded seams and excellent stability.
