Fusion™ 6HF – s200RW offers the ultimate additional solution for remote laser welding of aluminium 6xxx alloys without the need for any additional metal. Access to the weld area is enhanced, welding speed is increased and the stability of the process is improved in comparison with standard laser welding processes. This product is recommended for inner panels with high formability requirements such as door inners or other closure inner panels. Novelis Advanz™ 7UHS – s701 is a product developed for structural applications requiring high inservice strength. The 7xxx alloy provides the highest T6 strength among current aluminum alloys and has significantly higher strength over incumbent 6xxx alloys. This in turn offers potential for lightweighting of structural parts over advanced high strength steel options without compromising performance requirements. The alloy-temper can be optimized to provide good balance between strength, crash performance and corrosion resistance. Advanz™ 7UHS – s701 is an excellent choice for strength-dominated structural components, such as A-pillar, B-pillar, door beams as well as various other structural reinforcements. This product exhibits excellent specific strength and specific energy absorption along with good hot formability making it an ideal material for lightweighting of structural reinforcements. Novelis Advanz™ 6HS s650 is Novelis’ latest offering to the high strength 6xxx series and caters to structural applications requiring high in-service strength. A tailor-made alloy, specifically designed for high strength requirements without compromising its forming characteristics, Novelis Advanz™ s650 has a 15-20% T6 strength advantage over incumbent high strength 6xxx, coupled with excellent crash behavior and corrosion resistance. Predominantly an alloy of choice for structural parts with high demand on forming and high strength after paint bake, typical areas of application are A-pillar, B pillar, roof traverse, rocker, inner and floor panels, bumpers and battery cases along with various other structural reinforcements. This product exhibits excellent after paint bake response which in turn provides high in-service strength making it an ideal material for light weighting of structural components. Novelis Advanz™ 6F – e170 is predominantly used for critical exterior closure panels, but may also be used for demanding inner applications. Typical areas of application are hood outers, door outers, fenders, deck lids and critical inners. This product offers an excellent balance of properties: superior formability in the as-supplied temper, high in service strength, excellent bending and crash behavior. Novelis Advanz™ 6CM – s300 has a wide array of applications for general structure and crash energy absorption such as engine supports, cross members, transmission tunnel and front and rear crash members. As the in-service strength of Advanz™ 6CM – s300 is significantly higher than normal 5xxx alloys, this provides significantly higher energy absorption during crush. All values listed are typical.

Novelis Advanz™ 6CM – s118 is a heat treatable product for automotive structural and inner applications. Advanz™ 6CM – s118 was primarily developed for hood inners, in order to meet the highest pedestrian safety requirements while also offering a 6xxx series uni-alloy solution. In the as-supplied temper, this product is soft and highly formable – ideally suited to form complex parts such as hood inners. Developed for inner closure panels with special requirements, Novelis Advanz™ 6CM – s118 has excellent forming characteristics as well as a superior bending performance. Advanz™ 6CM -s118 has moderate strength after paint baking and offers controlled energy absorption in a crash situation. All values are typical.
