With XChange from LMT Fette, with its patented interface, for the fi rst time it has been possible to combine the advantages of carbide and steel in a modular tap. Approximately 90 % of the taps used nowadays are still made from high-speed steel. This is because this cutting material is featuring the requested toughness for absorbing the torsional moment as well as the necessary load at the cutting edge when rewinding the tap. HSS, however, is having some disadvantages also, compared to solid-carbide taps: tool life and most importantly the feasible cutting speeds and cycle times are significantly lower. With XChange two physically prohibitive properties has been combined: The solid-carbide threaded head, a combination of ultra-fine grain carbide and high performance coating, is providing: - maximum tool life - and high cutting speeds The flexible steel shank guarantees - the stability of the tool - and offers extra efficiency

High-speed thread cutting with reversing kinematics The new EWS Tapmatic thread cutting head for driven tools enables thread cutting processes without having to reverse the direction of rotation thanks to its reversing kinematics. This saves time and energy and protects the motor – all this with a defined depth of thread. The units are available for M3-M12 threads.

The external threads are designed with a thin profile to minimize induced stress in the plastic and have a relative coarse pitch to provide the maximum plastic shear surface to resist pull-out.

The economic adjustment to small batch sizes, we meet with our turned parts for the direct assembly in plastics and die-cast products. Any thread forms such as, thread-tapping (DIN7500), thread cutting (DIN 7513-7516) or KTG for direct screw in plastics are realized cost-effectively. Advantage is the elimination of high tooling costs, since no counter-thread in the workpiece (eg threaded inserts, nuts, etc.) is required because the direct assembly takes place directly into the workpiece. Only a given tube is required in order to screw it directly. Our turned parts replace previously cold formed parts used (so-called multi-station presses) which require high output volumes in order to achieve a reasonable price parts.

With the thread adapter made of high-quality stainless steel 1.4301 (304) a pump, a drain cock or any other connection with thread G 2" (Whitworth pipe thread) can be screwed onto a container with G 1 1/2" thread. The thread adapter adapts and thus compensates for different thread shapes. The drum adapter ensures that decanting is liquid-tight; a seal made of ePTFE reliably seals the connection. The thread adapter made of stainless steel is electrically conductive and highly chemically resistant. It can therefore be used for filling solvents and other flammable liquids (e.g. alcohols, petrol, diesel etc.) as well as for weak alkalis and acids.

The GEMÜ 566 2/2-way globe control valve has a body with an integrated control mechanism which can be controlled by various operator types. In addition to a pneumatic version, manual and motorized versions are also available. The GEMÜ 660 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a stainless steel piston actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve was designed for dosing and filling a wide range of products. The GEMÜ SUMONDO® single-use diaphragm valve consists of a diaphragm valve body and a manual or pneumatic operator. The single-use diaphragm valve body has an internally welded diaphragm. The single-use diaphragm valve body is fastened to the operator using a clamp. The valve body and the operator are locked using a defined closing and opening procedure. After use, the single-use diaphragm valve body and its diaphragm can be removed from the operator and disposed of.
