Electromagnetic clutches and brakes of Kendrion (Aerzen) GmbH are easy to install and integrate into the machinery concept/layout with no setting up or running in. Kendrion offers a combination fitted on a hollow shaft for applications where clutches and brakes work together. The units are based on the successful magneta components. They are fitted on a through shaft. The unit is fixed using simply two screws and is ready for operation then. Electromagnetic clutches and electromagnetic brakes from Kenrion (Aerzen) GmbH transmit the drive torque and braking torque frictionally in dry running conditions. If a DC current is applied, the torque is transferred without backlash. Residual torque free ventilation in a de-energised state is ensured by the prestressed annular spring of the armature section. The clutches and brakes are suitable for every mounting position and require almost no maintenance.

Electromagnetic clutches and brakes by Kendrion (Aerzen) transmit the torque and brake torque through dry running friction material. With DC voltage applied, the torque is transmitted without backlash. Using the prestressed spring of the armature, a release, free of residual torque is ensured. These clutches and brakes can be installed in any mounting position and hardly need any maintenance. Kendrion (Aerzen) offers standard clutches from 0.3 to 3.6 Nm as well as customer- and application-specific solutions up to 5 Nm.

The Controller 14.422 serves to excite the magnetic particle clutches and brakes. The excitation current can be influenced by a dancer potentiometer or a master voltage. The built-in current controller ensures that, despite varying coil temperature the current is constant. Other important features of the controller are: Setpoint integrator, control amplifier and temperature monitoring through an optional thermal switch at the magnetic particle clutch or brake. Should the body temperature become too high, the controller simply switches off.

Material: low carbon steel We offer our STAX steel fibers as short fiber according to customer specification (on special request as well as strand on reels). The Ø-fiber strength is approx. 30-50 μm. Regular analyses in our laboratory ensure the quality of our products. Main area of application for our STAX steel fibers is friction material for brakes and clutches, and as concrete reinforcement or in plastic compounds. INOX® Brake Cleaner is a highly effective cleaning agent for drum and disc brakes, brake linings and pads, clutch linings and pressure plates, as well as all parts in and around the motor vehicle which are contaminated with oil, grease, etc. Due to the high proportion of active ingredients, an intensive and fast-acting cleaning is achieved. No residues remain. It is not corrosive and generally does not attack rubber and plastics. However, due to the variety of plastics on the market, a compatibility test is recommended.

The MEDIUM Series spring balancers allow to effortlessly lift gluing, stapling, nailing, strapping and other tools with weight from 4,0 to 25 Kg. The balancers are an essential tools to ease the operator work and increase productivity. They also reduce the processing time and help improve the quality of work. The balancers are manufactured according with the DIN 15112. MODELS WITH BRAKE The models with brakes (models marked with the letter F), are equipped with clutch/brake that controls the rotation speed of the drum, going from a slight slowing down to complete blocking. To increase or decrease the friction and to make each position of the drum more stable, it is possible to act on the clutch/brake screw. Warning: it is absolutely forbidden to act on the clutch / brake screw when the rope is protruding or without load.
