These bearings consist of a cage made from a steel plate, which is precisely press formed and surfacehardened, and needle rollers with a diameter variation within 2μm. They have a rigid structure and a high lubricantretaining capacity. As they have the lowest sectional height compared with other thrust bearings, they can be used instead of conventional thrust washers and can withstand highspeed rotations with a low coefficient of friction.

Plastic containers 300/600/700 PLUS in an approved version for the transport and storage of exhausted batteries in compliance with ADR regulations. They can be stored outdoors and can be stacked and forklifted with a pallet truck and forklift. Overlapping is possible via 4 pins printed directly on the upper part of the boxes which fit into the special holes on the bottom of the feet of the overlying container. The tolerances of the bearing and mounting surfaces shall conform to the process tolerances of the guide rails (standard quality). The prestress applied depends on the respective mounting conditions, on the rigidity of the assembled slide structure respectively. We recommend to apply a prestress equivalent to a value between 5 and 20 % of the maximum admissible load. However, the load carrying ability of the overall guide rail structure thus realized will, at any case, be reduced by the prestress applied.
