This patented embedding process guarantees the highest degree of cutting capability and the longevity of the wire. The wire is wound around a drum that is attached to a precision hoist motor. Depending on the size of the saw, the length of the wire ranges from 10 to 40 metres. It has a diameter between 0.10 and 0.70 mm. All our saws use the force of gravity and/or weights as a method to achieve and maintain consistent feed rates. Moreover, they all possess continual variable speed control for the wire.
